Hurricane Isabella Weekend
September 20 - 23/03
With loads of fanfare, Hurricane Isabella barely made a dent in our weekend.
By the time it arrived in Keswick, nothing much was left. . . .
There is a short video clip at the bottom of this page, folks!

.....
.....
Janice & Anchor Girl knew that the only big wind that was blowing around the
marina was non other than Commodore Frankie.

.....
No matter what the conditions, it's always nice to see this view, eh?

.....
Janice pilots 'Doc Of The Bay' out on the water.

..........
"Hey Margaret, that looks like your grandfather eating ice cream!"

.....
Hurry everyone - down them drinks quick!

.....
"John, if you could give me a lift home - I only live over there . . ."

.....
Stevie goes all out to be the perfect host for his weekend guests.

.....
Vern was around to enjoy the fire (and a couple of cold ones) . . .

.....
With me & my Baileys;
And her with her slushy,
We all settled down for a quiet autumn's fire

.....
"Don't get up Dan - John is going to drive me home. . . . . ALBERT!"

.....
"Look, John is leaving - now we can crank up the music!"

.....
I told you I could get firewood with my eyes closed :-)

.....
Can't Graham ever leave those poor raccoons alone?

.....
Oh look, they're just sooooo cute :-)

.....
Afraid of being identified with her 'found' glass, Anchor Girl tries to cover up . . .

.....
Debbie pretends she remembers The Other Frank's name :-)

.....
Aww, it's little Albert.

.....
Anything interesting in the paper this morning, Larry?
"Ya, it says that there was a big commotion at Keswick Marine last night . . "

.....
I know I've seen this picture before . . .

.....
As previously mentioned, I would like to pass along my thanks to Bruce & Graham
for cutting down this annoying tree at the end of our row.
Thanks!!

.....
A view of Rotten Row.
Hey, I never noticed all those empty bottles behind that boat . .
NOW  I know why it's always so noisy down there.

.....
A calm afternoon - that's Fox Island out there, where Anchor Girl & myself went for a relaxing, quiet afternoon.
But, as soon as I was nodding off for a snooze, we were hailed on
the VHF for assistance.
Next time, I'll be sure to turn the radio off before I lay down :-)

.....
Peter (being towed) aboard 'Crack Of Noon'.
Note to all boaters - Long Shoal is not only long, but it is also very shallow :-)
No problem, buddy - next one is on the house!
