Weekend, 2005 (July 1st - 3rd at Lagoon City)
(This Page Originally Posted Jan. 29/06) ........ ........ The long weekend started with Diane giving us a scare when she fell overboard while docking! Here she is with her rescuers.  ........ ....... The crossing from home was pretty rough, too and by the time evening rolled around it was cloudy & windy.  ........ ....... After overcoming her panic from the over boarding incident, Diane (with coaching from Debbie) tried some bike riding for the first time in years.  ........ ....... Lindsay came up by car for a visit and a tour of the 'new' boat ;-)  ........ ....... Friday evening got quite cool, with everyone in jackets. This was really unusual weather for the '05 summer and was the coolest we saw all year.  ........ ....... Looks like Dave & Steve were both talking at the same time.  ........ ....... As it was too cool to party outside, we all headed over to the restaurant for karaoke Friday.  ........ ....... Dinner & dancing.  ........ ....... Dave serenaded us with some singing - Keswick style.  ........ ....... Then it was Diane's turn to liven things up . . .  ........ ....... It would appear that everyone was really enjoying her . . . ah . . . singing.  ........ ...................... Saturday saw a return to sunny, hot weather. Perfect filming conditions!  ...... ....... The cast & crew taking their five minute break for lunch.  ........ ....... Rotten Row parks in Lagoon City for awhile . . . .  ........ ....... Graham helps out with the ice run.  ........ ....... Diane's derriere wasn't very accustomed to bike riding . . .  ........ ....... I think this is the part in the story where the cliff became 380 feet high :-)  ........ ....... Dominic is showing off his legs, Brauweiller is kicking around in the surf & Graham is worrying about getting his shorts wet.  ........ ....... Graham, I think you're safe for about another 3 feet of depth . . .  ........ ....... Look at that sky - not a cloud anywhere! Oh, careful you don't burn your food, Sharon.  ..... ....... This was a fantastic weekend! Lots of fun & relaxing with our friends!!!  ..... ....... The gang gathers for a great group shot. (Don't you think this picture would make a great CD cover or something . . .?) Does anybody smell burning food?  ..... ....... Two thumbs (at least) up, eh Skipper? Don't worry my dear, I'll be down to check them hot dogs in just a second . . .  ........ ....... Very nice, Princess, but I gotta go check them dogs.  ..... ....... D'oh! It's a good thing I got to them before they really burned!  ..... ....... Mmmmmmmmmm, nice & crispy - just (choke) the way (hack) I like them. Quick - where's my beer?  ..... ....... Shorty & Dave enjoying the beautiful evening.  ........ ....... See Pat, Bruce does does get all cuddly now & then.  ..... ....... A relaxing evening, for sure.  ..... ....... El Bandito & his newest recruit.  ..... ....... Mr. Parker jots down a few thoughts in our log book (the paper one).  ........ ....... ". . . Ya, so this guy walks into a bar and . . . "  ..... ....... It was a bit warmer on Saturday night for our outdoor activities.  ..... ....... Well, it was a BIT warmer on Saturday night . . .  ..... ....... You can let go of your bike, Graham, I think it's safe for the night.  ........ ....... Check the steam rising off the water. Looks pretty neato.  ..... ....... The Commodore grabbing a cold one, while Diane's 'conversation piece' keeps watch.  ..... ....... We had to leave early on Monday to attend a family lunch. This was our parting shot. Say, Commander, do you think I'll ever see that picture you were taking here????  ..... ....... Another splashy ride back home. Looking forward to many more of those this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  . ...... Thanks For A Great Weekend, my friends. Anchor Girl & I enjoyed it IMMENSELY!!!
