Lagoon City ~ July 1/06 ~ (This Page Originally Posted March 16/07) Page Two ........ ........ The Commodore & Graham hit the beach on Saturday afternoon.  ........ ....... Actually, we rode up to show Kevvy what all the hubbub was about, as he had never been there before. Ain't ya glad you came??  ........ ....... Looks like ya is :-)  ........ ....... Time for some grub. If you can tell me of a better time than this, I'd like to know about it . . .  ........ ....... Even little Jason was getting a tattoo . . .  ........ ....... Anchor Girl fills the water tank. Ya, she can fill my tank any time ;-)  ........ ....... The Merc mechanics enjoying some BBQ - and comparing notes. Good thing too, as all the insights on Alpha drives were put into practice the following week. Am I right, Mr. Brauweiller??  ........ ....... Watch that you don't burn them there dogs, Graham.  ........ ....... Everyone pauses to gather their thoughts . . . Or the mustard.  ........ ....... While Sharon & Debbie wait for the deep talk to continue . . . Or the mustard ;-)  ........ ....... Oh ya - it was the Tattoo Boy that Sharon was after.  ........ ....... All this tattooing is getting Graham all worked up. I bet HE would love to 'give one' to somebody.  ........ ....... Ahh, here's an ass that is willing to take one for the team. Or to be able show everyone!  ...... ....... OK, enough of that silliness with the tattoo - we have some serious silliness to impart with FIREWORKS!  ........ ....... Oh wow, man - psychedelic!  ........ ....... Oh wow man - circle -dellic!  ................ ....... Dom is clearly enjoying himself. That's the whole idea !  ........ ....... Meanwhile, Brauweiller is perhaps getting into it a bit too much?  ........ ....... Alas, it was Monday morning and time to hit the water for the drive back to home port. Ahh, we had plenty of time - look at the sky. Clear as a bell & not a cloud to be seen. So we hung back for awhile.  ........ ....... That is, until we did hit the water - and the storm hit us! This is heading out of Lagoon City.  ........ ....... No problem - as long as our boats kept running fine, we were ok for the trip across the lake.  ........ ....... D'OH! Did I speak too soon? At least we were within sight of the marina when Hold The Dream crapped out. Seems that his drive shaft broke in the outdrive. - - - - - Hey Paul, I thought you keep telling everyone that your shaft is the one thing you have never broke? Ohhhh, THAT shaft. Never mind :-)  ................ ....... Safely towed back into port and all was well.  See ya Next Year . . . . ...
