Labour Day Weekend '04
- OR -
The Keswick to Lagoon City to Orillia to Keswick
to Orillia to Keswick Weekend
September 2 - 6, 2004

.....
.....
"Paul, how are we supposed to get out of our slip with
all this thick, green seaweed?"
I know it's really heavy, but if we don't like it,
(I'll quote the management here)
"Tuff!"

.....
See, I told you there was a lake under all that green stuff.

.....
Anchor Girl settles down for a relaxing cruise
to our next port of call. . .

..........
. . . And once we got to Lagoon City, she settled down for a relaxing
time at the docks . . .

.....
C'mon woman, I've got the bikes out, let's got for a spin.

Why do I hear banjo music playing again?

.....
A beautiful sunset.

.....
A view of Lagoon City Marina from the restaurant.

.....
Ready to shove off from the docks - and on to Orillia.
I said - on to Orillia.

.....
Departing Lagoon City, we headed over to Orillia.
I think this was the only really hot weekend in 2004.

.....
Once we finally got there, it was a lovely, hot day.
Glad to see everyone was holding the dock down with beer ballast.

.....
A fine day to catch some rays at the Port.

.....
Peetah, Jurgen & Stevie share a laugh.
Can't remember the joke, but the punch line must have been a good one.

.....
Me thinks someone might be getting a little too much relaxing in :-)
Ahhh, what the heck, she has to put up with allot, being married to
her high maintenance husband.

.....
Willard, don't look so down. Next summer will be here soon enough . . .

.....
I guess Cindy & Gerhard will be enjoying a bigger boat in 2005.

.....
"Hey Steve, look over there. It looks like home."

.....
Now I see what Kevin was talking about.
Just like home.

.....
Time to head home on Monday and the sky doesn't look very appealing.

.....
Lake Couchiching was only a little windy & wavy, but reports were that things
were a little nastier on Simcoe.
Oh well, gotta get home.

.....
Once out on Lake Simcoe, the ride did get quite rough.
Check the boat in the background, behind Frank & Paula.
It looks like the waves are exploding around it/

.....
Despite the roughness, the lake still looked beautiful.

.....
SPLASH! Cool!

.....
Another neat shot of Frank's trial by fire.

.....
Things began to settle down, once we got close to Fox Island & Frank was
able to put the throttle down & pass us.

.....
Finally back at the marina, Anchor Girl brought little Kumho over for a visit.
Gary suggested throwing the cat on the BBQ, but she wouldn't let us.

...........
Quick Gary, I've got the sauce - grab the cat!!

....
Better get the little guy back to Pat & Al. . .

....
Well, it's not cat, but it still tastes just like chicken.

....
Anchor Girl looks through the Boat Trader for the new one.
I hope I found her something she can be happy with.

....
Paul kicks back, waiting for his BBQ dinner.
Sorry Paul, there wasn't enough cat to go around - not even once.

....
Donny catches up on his nautical reading . . .

....
 Mmmmm, good eats.
Looking forward to the evening barbecues, along with a cold one.

....
Looks like Parker gets the last laugh. . .

:-)
