2005 Page #2 of 2 (This Page Originally Posted Dec. 4/05) ........ ........ North County Choppers roll onto the docks. Is nothing sacred with these people?  ........ ....... There they go - off for another day of hell raising & intimidating old(er) people. Well, as long as nobody gets hurt, or rides off the edge of the dock, all should be ok.  ........ ....... Oh ya, this 'Biker' looks real intimidating . . .  ........ ....... We headed for the Lightfoot Trail (in honour of Orillia native, Gordon Lightfoot), which winds it's way from the Port to The Narrows. For some reason, I kept thinking 'Follow the yellow brick road' along this stretch . . .  ........ ....... Hurry up - you ride like Girls!  ........ ....... The trail takes us right along the shore of Lake Couchiching.  ........ ....... You will have to use your imagination for this one. Oh-Oh - I just did - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  ........ ....... End of the trail (we were going too slow to make the jump over The Narrows). Time for a drink & smoke break . . .  ........ ....... Give us a wave Graham - while you're still dry . . .  ........ ....... Lot's of traffic on this long weekend.  ...... ....... Biker School 101 . . How to break into a new boat & hot wire it before the sales guy shows up :-)  ........ ....... You Scream, I Scream, We ALL Scream for ICE CREAM!!  ........ ....... I think you missed a little . . just to the right . . that's it, you got it.  ........ ....... Ahh, that was a nice, relaxing bike ride. And those ice cream cones really hit the spot. So, it's back to the boat - shouldn't be anything else eventful happening . . .  ........ ....... One New Folding Bike: $200 . . . . One Pair Leather 'Biker' Gloves: $15 . . . . One 'Tough Guy' Bandana: $3.50 . . . . Graham Riding The Whole Works Into The Lake: Inevitable!  ........ ....... Actually, I think the green highlights were very becoming :-)  ........ ....... Gerhard ponders life. Or maybe getting another beer.  ................ ....... Hey, Diane! I think these guys stole your wave!!  ........ ....... A lovely evening sky . . .  ........ ....... Peek-A-Boo!  ........ ....... This picture is still freaky, man. I haven't seen anything like this since the seventies, man.  ........ ....... The Four Amigos testing the capacity of our swim platform :-)  ........ ....... Monday morning, Commander Dom helped us out of our slip. He had to, as the seaweed was doing it's best to hold us back :-)  ........ ....... Another long line of boats heading out of The Narrows.  ........ ....... Gerhard steers the *New* 'Lollygaggin II' slowly back south.  ........ ....... A better crossing on the way back home. And the lake was the most beautiful green colour that I could remember. Isn't this a great view??  ........ ....... Brauweiller wants to race . .  ........ ....... Arriving back at home port.  ........ .......
