Labour Day - 2002 @ Port Of Orillia!!

There's about 22 pictures on this page, so 'dial up' visitors might find them taking awhile to load  - but they are all worthy of your entertainment,
so please be patient! Thanks.

'Hold The Dream' & 'No Fixed Address' racing alongside us on Friday
afternoon, eager to get get to our destination!
(Little did we know what kind of conditions we would have to
deal with for the trip home . . .)

Paul & Marie zooming in close for a better shot.

With Strawberry Island off to starboard, we're almost there!

The Gumby Salute!

Approaching The Narrows.

The latest inductee to Rotten Row, Larry poses by 'Mother Durga'.
Thanks for the sausages, Larry!

Hours & hours after everyone else arrived,
'Freebird' finally pulls into port.

After a looooooooong stay at the helm for the long crossing,
Graham is too pooped out to join the party :-)

Diane showing off her SECURITY shirt. Too bad it didn't have any influence
on the Sunday night!

Rear Admiral Dan aboard the newly christened 'Doc Of The Bay'.

"Oh sure, Frankie - one more picture for the web site
to get me in trouble with Martha!!"

"OK, Frankie, take the picture & get lost - I don't want to be around
you later when things start getting out of hand . . ."

"Hey Frankie - take a picture of me while I'm still sober - before
we start getting out of hand."

 GROUP SHOT!!

A startled Dominic realizes that he should have brought
more that just 'Near Beer' for the weekend :-)

"Hey Daddy, take the other walkie-talkie and go
down the dock to see if I can still hear you".

"Oh Geez! I thought we were far enough down the dock
so WE couldn't hear him!"

Failing to pay any heed to his own prediction, Gumby finds himself
witness to Janice's out of control gyrations.

"Hey Frankie! Why don't you come up & join me - I can see
Gord's boat from here!"

" . . . . I'll never dance with another, since I saw her standing there - YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! . . . ."

Seeing the writing on the wall (and the security guard approaching), Gumby
decides it's time to split.

I think this is the one that got us (Yes, Janice was up there, too!)
in trouble with the authorities.

Thanks, once again everybody for a very memorable
weekend (and for offering to chip in with bail money, if needed :-)
Commodore Frankie
